MNOC Venues and MapsMurphy-Hanrehan Park ReserveIt is a large, mostly undeveloped park in eastern Scott County. The area is mostly wooded and contains many ponds. It is noted for its challenging cross country ski trails, and it provides excellent orienteering terrain. The area was mapped in 1997. Directions: Murphy Hanrehan Park Reserve is located south of Savage, MN and just West of Burnsville. Take 35E or 35W to Burnsville and exit on County Road 42. Go west until you get to Burnsville Parkway. Take Burnsville Parkway south (and east) for about 2 miles to Murphy Lake Road. Go south on Murphy Lake Road and watch for the O-meet signs.
