MNOC Venues and MapsPillsbury State ForestDirections: Pillsbury State Forest is located just northwest of Brainerd, MN. From the intersection of Highways 210 and 371 take Highway 371 north from Brainerd/Baxter 2.6 miles to County Road 77. Turn left (west) on 77 and travel 13 miles to the intersection with County Road 15. Turn left (west) on 15 and travel 2 miles to the Shafer Lake Day Use Area entrance on the left (south) side of the road. Please note start locations may vary, so check the directions provided for a specific event. More information about Pillsbury State Forest is available from the Minnesota DNR.
