Overview

Spend the weekend after Valentines day doing something you LOVE, enjoy an afternoon in the woods! Lake Elmo Park Reserve is 2,165 acres (3.5 square miles) with 80 percent of its acreage set aside for preservation and protection. This portion will eventually resemble the land as it was prior to the arrival of the settlers in the mid-1800s. This park reserve offers gently rolling hills with a variety of landscape types, including forest and prairie. Watch for pheasants, weasels, red fox, woodpeckers, cardinals, cottontail rabbits, squirrels, and white-tailed deer.​​

Courses

  • Registration/Check-In: 11:00am - 11:30pm

  • Pre-race meeting/map distribution:  11:45am

  • Race Start: 12:00pm (mass-start)

  • Course Closure: 1:30pm

Directions: Lake Elmo Park Reserve is located 1 mile North of I-94 and 2.5 miles east of I-694 at the intersection of County Road 19 (Keats Ave.) and County Road 10 (10th St.). Take I-94 to County Road 19 and head North 1 mile. Once inside the park watch for O-meet signs.

Come Clean Leave Clean

The Minnesota Orienteering Club practices a Come Clean Leave Clean policy.  This helps us maintain a good relationship with the parks we utilize, sets a good example for other users, and limits the transfer and spread of many of the plants that make our venues less enjoyable.
